It is ...I don't have the name of the darker fiber. It is a brown suri fiber and it is unwashed (raw). Suri spins up like *silk* - I love it for spinning very, very fine. And yet, after plying, it is very soft. I got that suri fiber from Parker River alpacas - http://www.pralpacas.com . Not sure if he still has suris or not. <BR/><BR/>So glad you're enjoying it! Thor has had one washing but still has some chaff. Can be spun as-is with only teasing or could be carded or flicked and spun.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
